GRINGO HELMET
It is one of the most popular helmets for custom and vintage bike enthusiasts and has become an icon in its own right.
At first glance, not much has changed: the Gringo still has its beautiful, slim profile ABS shell with sturdy snaps to attach visors and peaks. Not too many bells and whistles to deduct from the sleek design that matches just about any bike out there. The inside is another story though: the EPS foam has been improved to absorb more impact, and the chin bar received a big overhaul with a soft closed cell foam backed up by a thick layer of EPS foam.
Biltwell have managed to seriously up the safety aspect of the Gringo, while still offering a slim, lightweight helmet with an extremely comfortable fit at a very attractive price point.
